Cookie Policy
This policy explains how GRMPT uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website.
Last updated: May 19, 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners.
Similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, and browser fingerprinting may also be used alongside cookies for related purposes. In this policy, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies".
2. How GRMPT Uses Cookies
GRMPT is a web application. Our use of browser storage is minimal and purpose-driven. We use cookies and local storage for the following categories of purposes:
3. Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function. Without them, core features such as sign-in and account access would not work. You cannot opt out of essential cookies while using GRMPT.
- Authentication Session (Firebase) — When you sign in with Google or Apple, Firebase Authentication stores a session token in your browser's local storage. This token is used to verify your identity on each request and keep you signed in between sessions. It expires automatically after a period of inactivity.
- Security Tokens — Short-lived tokens used to authenticate API requests between your browser and GRMPT's servers. These are transmitted via HTTP headers and are not stored as cookies.
- Application Cache — Browser local storage and service workers are used to cache assets and state, reducing load times on repeat visits.
4. Functional Cookies
These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be set by GRMPT or by third-party services embedded in our platform.
- User Preferences — We may store lightweight preferences (such as your last-used generation settings) in browser local storage to improve your experience. This data stays on your device.
- Google Sign-In (Google LLC) — The Google Sign-In flow uses cookies set by Google's accounts.google.com to manage the OAuth authentication flow. These cookies are governed by Google's Cookie Policy (policies.google.com/technologies/cookies).
- Apple Sign-In (Apple Inc.) — Similar to Google Sign-In, Apple's authentication flow may set cookies during the sign-in process. These are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/privacy).
5. Analytics Cookies
We may use analytics tools in the future to understand how users interact with GRMPT and to improve the Service. At present, we do not use third-party analytics cookies such as Google Analytics.
If we introduce analytics cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by applicable law, obtain your consent before placing them.
6. Advertising Cookies
GRMPT does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not display third-party advertisements, and we do not share your browsing data with advertising networks.
7. Third-Party Cookies
Certain third-party services integrated with GRMPT may set their own cookies on your device. GRMPT does not control these cookies and they are subject to the respective third party's privacy policies:
- Google (accounts.google.com) — Authentication, API services, and reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA v3 sets cookies to assess user interactions for bot protection. Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple (appleid.apple.com) — Authentication service. Apple Privacy Policy: apple.com/privacy
- Stripe (js.stripe.com) — Payment processing. When you access the billing or checkout flow, Stripe.js sets cookies and uses local storage to detect fraudulent activity and maintain payment session state. These cookies are strictly necessary for payment security. Stripe Privacy Policy: stripe.com/privacy
- Sentry (browser SDK) — Error monitoring. Sentry may use session storage to correlate error events within a single browsing session. No persistent tracking cookies are set. Sentry Privacy Policy: sentry.io/privacy
We recommend reviewing the cookie policies of these services for full details on how they use cookies.
8. How to Manage Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View the cookies stored on your device.
- Delete all or specific cookies.
- Block cookies from specific websites.
- Block all third-party cookies.
- Set preferences for cookies before they are set.
Please note that blocking or deleting essential cookies (particularly authentication session cookies) will prevent you from signing in to GRMPT and accessing the Service.
Browser-specific instructions for managing cookies can be found at:
- Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies
- Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cookies-information
- Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/cookies-in-microsoft-edge
9. Local Storage and IndexedDB
In addition to cookies, GRMPT uses browser local storage and IndexedDB to store authentication tokens, application cache, and user preferences. These technologies function similarly to cookies but are not transmitted to our servers automatically — they are accessed only by our application code.
You can clear local storage and IndexedDB through your browser's "Clear browsing data" or "Clear site data" settings. Doing so will sign you out of GRMPT and clear any locally cached data.
10. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or applicable legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of GRMPT after changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated Cookie Policy.
